8 Suggestions For A Successful Cleanse Day

Most feel that regular cleanse days are vital for improving our health. Our bodies need support handling the toxins in our food, water and air. Our occasional overindulgent ways of living also leave our bodies craving for a rest as well as high-quality nutritional support.

But how do we ensure achievement in sticking with our objective to finish a cleanse day and stay with a new fitter lifestyle? Consider these tips for a successful cleanse day:

1. Set aside one day each week for cleansing.

When making life changes we have old habits to break. By designating one day a week you are setting a new schedule with appointments for yourself to make a commitment to. The day can be any that will work for you, but Monday frequently works really well to help re-commit and get back on course after a weekend where you may have lost focus a bit.

2. Check to be sure you have on hand all the cleansing prerequisites.

Be sure you have enough cleansing juice and lots of clean water to get you thru your day. This is going to help eliminate excuses and ensure you have what you want.

3. Work with your coach.

Call your friends for support. Tell them you are planning to cleanse and that you need their support .

4. Set up responsibility.

This is often a buddy or someone else who is cleansing with you. It could be a group of you who all need to succeed at cleansing and your new healthy way of life. Checking in and reporting often (I would recommend daily) to each other will help in keeping you on track.

5. Get rid of temptation.

Toss (or at a minimum get out of the way) any foods, nibbles, etc, that don’t belong in your healthful way of life.

6. Follow a cleanse day schedule.

Plan put what cleansing juices you’ll drink and when. Freshly made plant juices that include leafy greens are recommended. A prepared cleanse drink can encourage success in these things. I would recommend a cleanse day schedule.

7. Stay busy.

I like to cleanse on work days as it keeps me busy. You can also plan lots of pursuits like garment shopping or good walks that keep you targeted on something other than thinking about food. The day flies by when you’re busy.

8. Keep your targets on display.

If you haven’t made a dream board yet, cleanse days are a good day to make one. If you have one display it prominently on this day. Post your targets and inspirational proverbs (ones that are motivating to you) on the chiller, bathroom mirror, work space, etc.

Use these tips to set yourself up for success on your cleanse days. Soon cleansing will become second nature to you and your will be enjoying the benefits of regular cleanse days and a fitter way of life.
